ABOUT ME

DETAILS

I am thrilled by the little things in life. The cracks people walk over on the sidewalk, the small words engraved into old brick walls. The specks in a mirror, the old moss on a staircase that hasn't been used in years. The things that have been forgotten, the things we take for granted.

I am interested in struggles. Exploring pain. Sadness. What hurts. What heals.

I love connections. That feeling you get when eyes meet. The understanding of one another. The relationships that we form and the relationships that we break.

In my work I aim to capture moments that are unconventional. Perhaps they are unexpected, perhaps they are saddening, perhaps they are thrilling.

My name is Lily Mellor and I am an art student enrolled at Savannah College of Art and Design. I am studying Industrial design with minors in Photography and Accessory Design. I previously attended Parsons School of Design. I am from both West Simsbury, Connecticut and South Londonderry, Vermont.

My work has been published both digitally and in print in the LA Times, Vermont Magazine, Stratton Magazine, Manchester Life Magazine, and the Vermont News Guide.

I hope you enjoy :)
